CORRECTION: The principal researcher from Texas A&M did allow the removal of collar #13 while it was still active because of the skin irritation. This doe experienced skin irritation from the radio telemetry collar during the study while the collar was still active so the principal Texas A&M researcher allowed this collar to be cut off. She and her fawn didn’t show any signs of screw worm infection.
